September 29th, 2009I’ve just received word that the Empowerment Trollbeads will be available to Canada by my October!! If you are not aware of the program, the Empowerment beads are a group of specially designed glass beads that are all in pink and white in colour. The program will consist of 50% of the profits from the sale of these kits being donated to Breast Cancer charities. TrollbeadsNow.com will also have the kits (10 per kit) for sale as individual beads. Stay tuned as I am waiting on more information and photos from Trollbeads Canada!

Breast Cancer Empowerment Beads in Canada?
September 2nd, 2009We are still waiting to hear if the Breast Cancer Empowerment beads will be coming to Canada. They will be released in October in a small test market in the Northeastern United States. No Fair!!!! The beads will come in sets of 10 and will be available for October – Breast Cancer awareness month. From what I have read the beads are a limited edition bead and a third of the proceeds will go to the Susan B. Komen For the Cure Foundation. I know a lot of my customers would LOVE to see these come to Canada – bracelets with pink themes are quite popular. I predict these beads will be a huuuge hit and we will soon see these beads all over the world. (here’s hoping!)

Be Original The Movie – deadline extended!
September 2nd, 2009Trollbeads.com has announced today that they have extended the deadline for the Trollbeads The Movie competition. They will now be accepting entries up until September 15th! Visit www.beoriginalthemovie.com to submit your last minute entries. Thank goodness!!
I have looked at quite a few of the video clips that have been submitted and I am determined to get mine done and submitted this weekend! This weekend is a long weekend, my last chance at any sort of summer vacation.
I know a lot of people were disappointed when they didn’t get their submissions for the People’s Bead in in time. Getting the PAX bead in the mail was such a great surprise. I’d like to find out how many PAX beads were mailed out! So this time – everyone has the opportunity to win a faceted turquoise Amazonite stone. “if your clip is used in the final movie we will send you the beautiful faceted turquoise Amazonite stone. Amazonite is not yet available in the Trollbeads collection so you could be one of the first in the world to own it.” How exciting! Are they also indicating that the Amazonite stone might be joining the Trollbeads Collection on the future?
